The overall success of the Buffalo Bills defense is based on how everyone works as a unit. If someone gets hurt, then everyone steps in to cover for that Buffalo Bills player. They must take advantage of opportunities. Coach Lester emphasizes the cohesiveness of the Buffalo Bills group by pointing out that not a single Buffalo Bills linebacker made the pro-bowl, saying there are no superstars, just team players.
The upcoming season may be a test for this Buffalo Bills group with the loss of three key veterans. However, Lester maintains that the starting line-up is still intact. Throw in the two draft picks, Corey Moore (above) and DaShon Polk, and Lester remains confidant of the squad’s abilities.
The standard was set last season. The Buffalo Bills team must meet or exceed what was accomplished then. They know what is expected of the Buffalo Bills. The veterans will make sure the younger players and rookies get the job done. Peer pressure is huge.
While lesser players might be intimidated by trying to follow the likes of Gabe Northern or Joe Cummings, Lester is confidant of his rookie’s abilities to fit in right away and make contributions.

The 2000 Buffalo Bills Miami Dolphins will begin on Oct. 8 @ Miami 1:00 PM with the first stop in Buffalo at the Wegman’s Store across from the Galleria Mall.
